On Tuesday,the Department of International Cooperation at the Ministry of Planning held A joint meeting with the German Embassy and the German Development Bank.
During the meeting, a number of files of joint cooperation between the two sides were discussed. The most important of which is the discussion and study of projects that contribute to mitigating climate change and improving public services in Iraq.
The Director General of the Department of International Cooperation in the Ministry, Dr. Saher Abdul-Kadhim Mahdi, said, This meeting comes within the framework of the endeavor to enhance joint development cooperation between the two sides and to contribute to directing international support towards the challenges of climate change, which is one of the priorities of the government program.
They also discussed the progress made in the draft agreement to establish offices for the Cooperation Agency and the German Development Bank in Iraq.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the expert group and the Sector Planning Department.
