Today, Sunday, the Ministry of Planning held the ninth meeting of the Governance and Digital Transformation Committee. It is one of the sectoral committees to prepare the national development plan for the next five years. Headed by the Undersecretary for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Azhar Hussain, who explained: This committee is responsible for analyzing the reality of the sector with its developmental activities and indicators, defining the main and subsidiary objectives, and quantitative and qualitative indicators to measure them. Indicated: This meeting was based on the outputs of the last meeting of the Preparatory Committee for preparing the National Development Plan and discussing the directions issued by it, which include: Adopting the general context for preparing work in line with the national development plan, and approving the work mechanisms of the department with objectives and results, She added, “The Information Technology Department will work on preparing a detailed strategy for digital transformation in Iraq. And in coordination with the relevant authorities, Emphasizing the need to adhere to the timetables for the completion of the required work. It is worth noting that the committee includes in its membership the relevant authorities and ministries: (the health , interior, Higher Education , justice, Telecommunications , the National Intelligence Service, information technology department, Central Statistical Organization and the National Center for Management Development and Information Technology)
