Mr. Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Planning, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali Tamim checked, Accompanied by the Governor of Anbar, Dr. Ali Farhan, And Deputy Muhammad Muhannad, and the commander of Al-Jazeera and Badia operations, Major General Kathir Abdul Rahman, today, On Sunday, a number of service projects were carried out in the district of Hit, in Anbar Governorate. He looked at the reality of the work, the rates of implementation, and the obstacles facing its implementation.
During his field tour, the Minister confirmed that the government raised the slogan of providing services to citizens. By focusing on the implementation and completion of basic service projects, particularly water and sanitation projects, schools and hospitals, The Ministry of Planning has given priority to these projects, whether they are ongoing or stalled. Solutions and remedies were developed and the necessary measures were taken to advance the pace of work.
The minister’s tour included, Visiting the sewers project of the district of Hit, which is considered one of the important and strategic projects as it serves a wide segment of the district’s residents.
His Excellency toured the stations and sections of the project and met with the engineers, workers and representatives of the company executing the project.
The representative of the Turkish executing company stated that the completion rate amounted to more than 70%. It is hoped that it will be completed in a period less than the project period. Pointing out that the work takes place in several parts, and there are more than 700 workers working in the project, most of whom are from the district of Hit.
