Follow-up teams in the Ministry of Planning carry out a field visit to the 200-bed Al-Hussainiya General Hospital project in Baghdad

In light of the priorities of the government program to improve the level of services, especially health. The specialized field teams at the Ministry of Planning visited the 200-bed Al-Hussainiya General Hospital project in Al-Zuhur district in Baghdad.
A statement from the ministry stated: The field follow-up teams in the Departments of Governmental Investment Programs and Sectors Planning carried out a visit to Al-Hussainiya Hospital, to view the reality of work progress in the implementation stages of the project. Indicating: The hospital will contribute to the provision of medical, health and advisory services to the Husseiniya areas, Rashidiya, Al-Intisar, Bob Al-Sham and Al-Thalabeh).
The statement indicated that the project was implemented on a land area of (30) dunums, at a cost of (140) billion dinars. The project consists of a hospital building consisting of (4) floors, a building for doctors’ residence consisting of (3) floors, and a special emergency building. and a number of service tubes, Pointing out that the completion rate reached (37%). Noting that one of the important problems that the Ministry teams monitored is the delay in disbursing the financial advances related to the project. The statement held the beneficiaries responsible for addressing all problems that caused delay in the completion of the project.
