The Deputy Prime Minister, minister of planning, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali Tamim, received on Thursday, the ambassador of the United Kingdom to Iraq, Mr. Mark Bryson Richardson, and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, they discussed aspects of joint cooperation between the two friendly countries, in the economic, investment and commercial fields, and energy issues.
The two sides also discussed the priorities of the government program, and the role of the United Kingdom in supporting the efforts of the Iraqi government, in the implementation of service projects, investing in clean energy projects, coping with climate change, As well as achieving economic reform and supporting the private sector.
The meeting was attended by the Director General of International Cooperation at the Ministry of Planning, Dr. Saher Abdul Kadhim and a number of officials in the ministry.
