On Wednesday, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Planning Dr. Mohammed Ali Tamim presided over The first meeting of the ministry’s opinion body for the year 2025.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister emphasized. The Ministry of Planning is preparing to announce the main results of the census before the end of this month. He praised the great efforts. by the Statistics Authority and the Ministry’s departments and formations. and supporting ministries and agencies. in the conduct and success of this major development project. The project was a resounding success. directing the preparation of a detailed plan. To utilize the tablets that were used in the census. By granting them to ministries and non-ministerial entities. To update demographic, economic and social data by development sectors in a sustainable manner.
During the meeting, a number of files and issues on the agenda were discussed. The Commission discussed. Mechanisms to develop the electronic systems of the Ministry of Planning. and the mechanism of cooperation with the Alamein Institute for Studies. As well as discussing the preparation of a new structure for the executive management of the Poverty Reduction Strategy.
