Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Planning Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali Tamim, presented congratulations for Iraqi women, on the occasion of the Iraqi and International Women’s Day, which falls on the eighth of March every year.
In his congratulations, the Minister said, “I am very pleased to extend my abundant congratulations to all Iraqi women on the occasion of International Women’s Day, and as we congratulate Iraqi women on their day, they deserve all our praise and appreciation, for their great effort and giving, through their participation in history and present in building and their role in the cohesion of society and their legendary steadfastness in the face of the harsh conditions and the challenges Iraq faced, and their great contribution to achieving development.
The Minister added, “The celebration of Women’s Day for this year 2023, comes under a promising government program, and development policies set by the Ministry of Planning, to empower women economically and socially, all aim to fairness to women, and give them the space they deserve, and commensurate with the demographic, social, developmental and economic weight of women.
The Deputy Prime Minister renewed, his congratulations and blessings to Iraqi women in general and those working in the Ministry of Planning in particular. Wishing Iraq, its men and women, development and prosperity.
