OnThursday, the Ministry of Planning discussed the axes of the National Population Policy Document 2023, which was approved by the Higher Population Council at its last meeting, and the priorities it includes.
A meeting of the Preparatory Committee for the preparation of the National Development Plan (2023-2027), which is chaired by the Undersecretary for Technical Affairs, Dr. Maher Hammad Johan. The general managers of the Ministry, a group of experts, specialists and representatives of the concerned departments participated in the meeting. The meeting, which was attended by the Administrative Undersecretary of the Ministry, Dr. Azhar Hussein Salih, presented a summary of the climate change report and discussed the proposed timelines for preparing the national development plan, as well as choosing the main partners and determining the type of support according to the axes of the next plan. The meeting also dealt with presenting a questionnaire on the priorities of the national development plan in the field of the human capital pillar.
