residing in the Jordanian capital, Amman, Mrs. Emilia Georgieva, and her accompanying delegation.<br\/>At the outset of the meeting, the Minister appreciated the positions of the Swiss government in support of Iraq in various fields, stressing the importance of expediting the reopening of its embassy headquarters in Baghdad, for supporting and strengthening joint cooperation between the two countries.<br\/>The minister reviewed Priorities and directions of the government program, which focuses on fighting corruption, developing the economy and supporting the private sector, investing in clean energy, coping with climate change, through optimal use of water, as well as developing foreign relations in accordance with common interests with friendly countries.<br\/>The ambassador Mrs. Georgieva conveyed her government&#8217;s congratulations to the new Iraqi government, expressing her country&#8217;s readiness to provide all kinds of possible support to Iraq, particularly with regard to economic development, referring to the level of success achieved during the last period in the implementation of a number of projects funded by the Swiss government.<br\/>In addition, the meeting, which was attended by the Director General of International Cooperation, Dr. Saher Abdel-Kazem, and a number of officials in the Ministries of Planning and Foreign Affairs, witnessed discussing a number of issues and files of common interest, including cooperation in the field of water resources management, coping with climate change, and renewable energy, in addition to the possibility of contracting with a number of Swiss companies to carry out the inspection process before the import in the country of origin.<br\/>The two parties agreed to prepare a joint memorandum of
