International Cooperation Directorate International Society Partnership Committee

A strategic body established for reconstruction in December 2003 in order to consider the reconstruction projects funded by donor countries and institutions and to ensure consistency with the national development strategy and priorities of the country in various sectors and to ensure equitable distribution of programs and projects at various geographic regions without discrimination on the basis of ethnic or sectarian, and under No. 37 for the year 2011 was the establishment of a committee of international partnership in the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs that incorporate all the existing entities and which holds the review and approval of programs and projects funded by donors including the strategic body for reconstruction and the Secretariat of the International Compact with Iraq. It preside over the Committee, Mr. Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister and Vice President of the President of the advisory board and the membership of the Ministries of Planning and Finance and some other ministries, where he was the formation of sectoral committees shall study the technical aspects of the projects presented for funding and in coordination with the committees formed within the framework of development assistance to the UN UNDAF where the share of the Ministry of Planning in membership of all committees.

The Committee discussed since its inception a number of projects (28 projects) at a total cost of (296 335 955) dollars.
