About the Department of Contracts
Department of contracts was formed under Ministerial Order No. (1722) on 07/10/2007 to be responsible for managing the contracts and follow up the implementation of public contracts of the Ministry of Planning, and linked with the Minister directly in terms of administrative and department of government contracts public Technically, linked for committees of the opening and analysis bids.
Structure of Contracts Department
1- Contracts Division
Headed by an employee with experience and competence associated with the Director of the department and includes a number of specialists and experts, technicians and legal experts and exercise the following functions: -
A – Preparing documents.
B - Announcement of tenders.
C - Implementation of procedures and the number of draft answer and sign contracts in coordination with the ministries or departments not linked to a ministry or territory or the provinces.
D - Approaching the concerned authorities for the purpose of obtaining the approval of the selection of the optimum technique for the implementation of contracts and obtaining approvals fundamentalism adopted in this regard.
E- Carry out any other duties compatible with the function of the work of this Division.
2- Following up Division
Headed by an employee of experienced and competent administrator and associated with the manager of the department, and includes a number of specialists and experts and exercise the following functions: -
A- Obtaining approvals fundamentalism on the financial allocations in coordination with relevant departments in the ministry for projects and held various ministry.
B - Following-up requirements of work.
C - Reporting on public contracts to the concerned authorities.
D - Do any other functions that fit with the function of the work of this Division.
3- Division of Archiving and System of Contractual Information Management
Headed by an employee with experience and competence are linked to the manager of the department and includes a number of specialists and experts and exercise the following functions: -
A- Saving the correspondence and official correspondence for this configuration.
B- Archiving information concerning the procedures of contractual and execution of contracts on the computer system and to link these systems with the Department of General government contracts.
C- Secretarial tasks for this configuration.
D- Do any other functions fit with the nature of this division.
