The Minister of Planning, Dr. Nuri Sabah Al-Dulaimi, chaired an expanded meeting to discuss mechanisms for improving service reality in the Baghdad governorate, in the presence of Mr. Haitham al-Jabouri, head of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Ms. Aisha al-Massari, Vice-Chairman of the Parliamentary Services Committee, and a number of gentlemen MPs, and Mr. Muhammad Jaber Al-Atta, Governor of Baghdad, Al-Ithawi, Deputy Governor of Baghdad, and the Deputy Undersecretaries of the Ministries of Planning, Finance, and Reconstruction, and a number of general managers in ministries and entities not related to the Ministry.

Dr. Nuri Al-Dulaimi stressed that “Today’s meeting aims to find serious remedies and appropriate solutions to implement more vital new projects and resume the implementation of all suspended and lagging projects.” He expressed his hope to form a government within the constitutional period and send the budget to the parliament, stressing this to the double and professional efforts In which the Ministry of Planning works to create appropriate working conditions for the next government.

The meeting discussed the necessary implementation mechanisms for infrastructure projects and the allocations needed for them in the Abu Ghraib, Nahrawan, Unity and Seven Al-Bor districts, and the best way to complete vital projects within the specified times, especially sewage and road cladding projects.

The joint meeting discussed the reality of sewage in the districts, districts and villages of the Baghdad governorate, and the projects included in the governorate plan, providing job opportunities for young people through them, supporting them with national experiences, and providing the necessary funding for them.
