The Minister of Planning, Dr. Nuri Sabah Al-Dulaimi, received at the Ministry’s Bureau today, Tuesday, Mrs. "Marta Ruedas", Deputy Special Representative of the United Nations Mission (UNAMI) and the United Nations Resident Coordinator in Iraq. During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance efforts to restore stability and develop the private sector.
Dr. Nuri Al-Dulaimi appreciated at the beginning of the meeting the efforts of the United Nations Mission in Iraq, calling for increasing international support in line with the needs and priorities of citizens, and strengthening joint cooperation towards achieving the goals of the Iraq Vision 2030 for sustainable development, and uniting national and international efforts towards empowering and developing the Iraqi private sector.
For her part, Mrs. "Ruidas" expressed her sincere appreciation for the joint coordination that the Ministry of Planning strengthened with the United Nations Mission in Iraq and various parties in the public and private sectors, indicating thus the keenness of the United Nations Mission to increase international support and cooperation with the Iraqi government in its efforts for reconstruction, stability and return of all The displaced.
