The minister of planning met with representatives of the private sector and discussed with them the mechanisms of the development of this sector's contribution to reconstruction and investment

 The Minister of Planning, Dr. Salman Al-Jameeli, met with representatives of the Iraqi private sector and discussed with them the reality of the private sector and ways to expand its participation in the development process in the light of the plan of the future development of the economic opening of Iraq reconstruction operations. 

Dr. Al-jameeli confirmed during the meeting which was attended by the President of the religious advisers, Mr. Abdul Karim Al Ansari, the government wants the private sector to be effective and influential, because it was aware of the possibility of this sector and its ability to meet the development goals, especially in the area of investment. 

The delegation of the private sector, the President of the Federation of Iraqi Industries, Mr. Ali Sabeih, the representative of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce, Mr. Abdullah al-Bandar, the head of the Iraqi National Business Council, Mr. Zair Daud Abdullah, and the President of the Economic Ibrahim al-Baghdadi. 

Dr. Al-jameeli added ,  Iraq is on the verge of a new phase in the reconstruction and opening up to investment and seek to attract investors to the country, it is imperative that we give our Iraqi special appropriate opportunity to rival Wanda strong. Foreign investors and companies. Noting that the economic and investment relations between Iraq developed considerably during the recent past, including relations with the brotherly kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has been the formation of the high-level coordination between the two countries, calling sector to provide appropriate vision on investment operations in the country. 

The private sector representatives welcomed the Government's orientation toward activating the role of the private sector. Confirming the ability of this sector to be a partner developmentally effective in all investment sectors.
