The Minister of Planning, Prof. Dr. Khaled Battal Al-Najm, chaired today, Wednesday, the tenth meeting of the Diwani Order 45 Committee, which is tasked with finding solutions and treatments for the stalled and stalled hospital projects.
The Minister affirmed during the meeting that the committee, during its previous meetings, presented its recommendations to the Council of Ministers and practical measures were taken regarding the completion of many lagging hospitals, in a number of governorates, and implemented by different companies, explaining that the committee succeeded in handling large hospital files. 400 beds capacity, in the governorates of Karbala, Babil, Maysan, Wasit, Dhi Qar, Najaf, and Basra, announcing a contract with one of the international consulting offices to carry out audits and reviews of the reality of those hospitals, provided that this office submits its report within 100 days, pointing out that A number of hospitals will be received and enter into service soon, after addressing the problems that were hindering their implementation.
The minister added that the committee examined other hospitals, including Dujail Hospitals in Salah al-Din, Al-Jawadin Hospital in Al-Taji area, and Al-Maamel Hospital in Al-Zawra district in Baghdad, pointing out that the coming days will witness the resumption of work at Dujail Hospital, calling on the implementing companies to fulfill their contractual obligations. After facilitating the procedures that were taken by the concerned authorities based on the recommendations of the committee.
In addition, the meeting witnessed discussion of the issues presented on its agenda, and the necessary measures and recommendations in their regard.
