Today, Sunday, the Minister of Planning, Prof. Dr. Khaled Battal Al-Najm chaired a meeting of the Diwani Order 63 Committee, which is concerned with finding solutions and treatments related to hospital projects that are lagging, as a result of problems in their contractual files.
The Minister, during the meeting attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, a number of general managers in it, and representatives of the implementing companies and consulting offices, made it clear that the committee, during a number of continuous meetings, was able to find solutions for a number of these hospitals, and it continues to work until the file is fully completed He pointed out that the completion of a number of large hospitals with a capacity of about 500 beds, as well as their containment of centers for treating cancerous tumors, modern and very advanced laboratories and equipment and equipment, represents an important addition to the health sector in Iraq, especially in light of the Covid 19 pandemic, and the need for More health services, explaining that the committee is now working to address the problems of hospitals (Babil, Karbala, Dhi Qar, Maysan, and Basra), and there will be field visits close to these projects to find out their problems, and then address them in a way that ensures their completion and introduction into service, as well as Ensuring the rights of the implementing companies.
