The Minister of Planning, Prof. Dr. Khaled Battal Al-Najm, announced today, Sunday, the ministry’s directions in redrawing human development policies in Iraq, making them the basis for real development in the country.
This came during his participation in the workshop organized by the Department of Human Development in the Ministry of Planning, to discuss the reality of the education sector and the paths to reform this vital sector, with the participation of the Ministries of Education and Higher Education.
The minister added that most of Iraq's problems are based on the absence of human development, and this absence caused an increase in unemployment rates, which led to the expansion of popular movement throughout the country.
The Minister stressed the importance of developing a joint strategy for education, to be developed by the Ministries of Planning, Education and Higher Education, based on diagnosing reality, far from any side effects, and including developing effective solutions for all problems of this sector, which represents the true basis, to achieve development and development, based on To a clear-cut vision, indicating that the Ministry of Planning is determined to implement two strategies, in the energy and food security sectors, which will contribute to supporting the achievement of human development, and will be binding on implementation by all concerned authorities.
The workshop was attended by representatives of the Ministries of Planning, Education and Higher Education, a number of advisors and general managers, experts and specialists in the aforementioned ministries, and the advisory board.
